Together for one purpose: to create a Postgraduate Training Program on Organ Donation and Transplantation as a first and important step in improving organ donation and transplantation activity in Egypt, Lebanon and Morocco.

This meeting had four principal objectives:

  • To bring together all the partners involved
  • To present the results of the diagnosis study
  • To design the curriculum of the Postgraduate Program on Organ Donation and Transplantation (EMPODaT) and the Quality Control Plan of the project
  • To disseminate the project to the Moroccan society (click here to see the Press Call).

The next steps will consist in the development of the contents of the Postgraduate Program on Organ Donation and Transplantation, based on the curriculum designed during the kick off meeting. It is expected that the first edition of the postgraduate program will be conducted from October 2014 to June 2015 from which a total of 90 students, 30 students per each ENPI partner country, will benefit.
